Last week it was the birthday of a very lovely lady, a very good friend of mine. Here's the card I made for her ...
Supplies used:
Cardstock & ink - Primrose petals & midnight muse, Stampin' Up
Paper - Stampin' Up
Stamp & die - Polka dot greetings & Fishtail flags, Die-namics
Punch - Potpourri butterfly, Stampin' Up
Embossing folder - Lattice, Stampin' Up
Her birthday lunch had to be postponed because of that pesky snow! But wasn't it pretty?! Me & my daughter went for a walk & found this ...
Very Narnia like, isn't it! So pretty.
But now it's all gone, my kiddies are back at school & we return to normality *sigh*

Building blocks
I've been having a play this week with some new stamps I bought from Clearly Besotted. Come & have a look ...
Supplies used:
Stamps: Building blocks & Framed sentiments - Clearly Besotted
Ink pads: Wild wasabi, rose red, So saffron - Stampin' Up
Cardstock & ribbon: Wild wasabi - Stampin' Up
Tools: Scallop die & circle punches - Stampin' Up
I had some great news today ... I won the giveaway of a stamp set & matching die on the lovely Stephanie Wincott's blog. I can't wait to receive it, so keep an eye out on my blog to see what I make with it.
I hope you're enjoying this snowy weather! It's snowman building for us tomorrow.
Thanks for popping by & take care x

New year, new job ...
Now don't get too excited! The new job is not me but my sister, who started a new job this week. And of course that demanded a card ...
I have CASE'd this card from the very talented Caryn. You can see her original card here.
Now, do you notice something different about this card? I've been wanting to try & put a watermark on my cards for a while. I found a free download on the good old internet. It's still not quite what I'm after but it's a start!
If anyone has any recommendations, especially free ones, please let me know!
Supplies used:
Stamps - Framed Sentiments, Clearly Besotted
Paper - Patio Party, Stampin' Up
Ribbon - Baja Breeze seam binding, Stampin' Up
Inks - Primrose Petals & Baja Breeze, Stampin' Up
Thanks for popping by & take care xxx

Merry Christmas & a happy new year!
I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas. We had a lovely Christmas Day with my family.
Here's the Christmas cards I made for family & close friends ...
& my sister ...
Both of these were made using the gorgeous stamp set 'Signature Christmas' from Clearly Besotted & the 2012-14 In-Color ink pads from Stampin' Up with co-ordinating ribbon.
I used the 'Lovely as a tree' stamp set from Stampin' Up stamped in Marina Mist ink to make a card for my parents ...
& my nan, stamped in Old Olive with co-ordinating ribbon ...
Wishing you all a very happy new year.
Thanks for popping by & take care x
P.S. I've edited this post on my computer as the photos didn't align on my blog very well on my first attempt at posting from the blogger app on my phone!
