Little cards of love

I'm back! After a few months absence from blogging I'm back to share some love with you :)
Valentines cards are everywhere in blogland & Pinterest at the moment. This card started out as a Valentine card but I decided to change the sentiment to make it an anniversary card.

Apologies for the photo, daylight had disappeared when I made the card.

I'm entering this card in this month's challenge with Clearly Besotted where the theme is 'Love'.
I'm also hoping it fits in with the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays where the challenge is to use 'blocks of color on your CAS creations' ...



I used a variety of Clearly Besotted's stamps for this card, including the repeat stamping of the small hearts stamp to make the banner across the top of the card. I made little cards for each of the LOVE letters, here's a close up ...

Stamps: Happy anniversary sentiment from 'Basic Numbers', letters from 'Basic Alphabet', rounded corner square from 'Geometric Style', postage stamp & hearts from 'Post It: Love' - all from Clearly Besotted

If music be the food of love, play on!

I wanted to try & enter a few more blog challenges this year. Over at Less is More they have a very simple sketch challenge this week, so I thought I'd have a go!
Well, I ended up making 3 cards!! Providing my lack of techy computer skills doesn't let me down, I shall try & enter all 3 cards this week.

Supplies used: SU Word Window & heart punches, SU red riding hood ink, Memento tuxedo black ink, Banana Frog Shake your tail feathers stamps

I used the word window punch to make the piano keys, but I can't take credit for this very clever idea. I saw it used on a card by one of the demonstrators at a Stampin' Up training day last year.



Supplies used: Kaisercraft sheet music stamp, SU cherry cobbler ink, twine & cardstock, SU heart punch

This last card was made using the stamp set I won in the giveaway from Clearly Besotted ...

I'm entering this last card in the 'Heart' challenge on the Addicted to CAS blog this week.

Be mine ... Valentine!

Happy Valentines Day!
I decided to make a Valentine card for my hubby in more masculine colours rather than traditional lovey dovey red :) Here's the result ...

Supplies used (all Stampin Up unless stated) ...
Stamps: I (Heart) Hearts
Ink pads & card stock: Marina mist, Crumb cake, Soft suede
Ribbon: Marina mist taffeta
Punches: Full heart, Small heart
Dies: Sizzlits Lots of Tags
Embossing die: Tim Holtz Patchwork

Hope you all get spoilt this Valentines Day. I must dash now to eat the yummy steak hubby is cooking me mmmmmm...
