Exam time!

This week was the start of GCSE exams for year 11s here in the UK & that includes my daughter. She's been like a revision machine the past couple of months & I couldn't be more proud of her for the effort she's putting in. And yes of course, I had to make her a good luck card :)

The hand moves so once one exam is done, we can spin it round to the next subject ...

I hope this card isn't too 'busy' to class as clean & simple so I'm going to link it up to the Less is More challenge this week which is to use colours on the opposite side of the colour wheel.

Also, this week's challenge over at Cute card Thursday is to use a brad.

Supplies
Clearly Besotted stamps ... Many Messages (good luck sentiment), Basic Alphabet (A/B/C, I & X for maths symbols), Scientifically Speaking (atom structure), Bookworm (books heart), Text Me (music notes), Time to celebrate (clock hand)
Other stamps, unknown supplier ... globe, cake, sun
Stampin' Up ... Alphabet embossing folder
Brad - from stash

Thank you for popping by & also for your lovely comments.
Take care.

  1. What a wonderful idea for an exams good luck card, and great use of the opposite colours too. It may be a touch too busy for Less is More, I'm a guest designer so I'll let the experts decide on this one! :)
    Thanks for sharing with us.

  2. A super clever idea for a good luck in exams card and love the style.
Crisp clean and fun with a super duper colour combo.
We do tend to prefer a little more in the way of CAS on our cards, as Anita mentioned but this is too cool to reject so thanks for sharing and hope you'll play along again soon.
